FAQ and house rules
Everything people ask before they come: signal, power, water, showers, parking, fire, dogs and what to bring. If your question is not here, email us.
Arrival and payment
Is the village open off-season?
The season runs May to October. Off-season we only host groups by arrangement.
How do I book?
Send an enquiry from the Stay page. We confirm availability by email within 48 hours.
How do I pay for my stay?
On arrival. Event tickets are bought online.
Do I pay for parking?
No. Car parking is next to the village and free with your stay. Campervans pay for the pitch, and an electric hookup is €15 per day extra.
How do I get there without a car?
By bus to Boljevac, and we arrange a transfer from there on request. You can also find a ride in our WhatsApp ride-sharing community.
Does the village have a phone?
No. Email us at info@pyramidecovillage.com, we reply within 48 hours.
Power, water and signal
Is there mobile signal?
Only in certain zones of the village. Most guests find that a plus: the phone stays in the pocket and the attention goes to people and the mountain.
How do I charge my phone?
Power in the village is solar. Charge your phone and small devices at the bar. If you stay longer, bring a power bank too.
Is there power for campervans?
Yes, a limited number of 230 V hookups for €15 per day extra. Tick it in your stay enquiry.
Is there drinking water?
Yes. There are drinking water refill stations in several places around the village, so bring your own bottle.
Are there showers?
Yes. The cabins are in the shade and shower water runs through a biofilter, so please use biodegradable soap and shampoo.
What are the toilets like?
Dry compost toilets. How to use them is explained on the door.
Can I cook?
Yes, in the shared kitchen with stoves and dishes. You can add breakfast and dinner in the village to your stay on request.
Where is the nearest shop?
In Boljevac. Bring what you need before you drive up to the village.
House rules
Where can I light a fire?
Only in the designated places and after letting the village crew know. Rtanj is dry in summer, so there are no exceptions to this rule.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, on a lead in the camp.
Are children welcome?
Yes. Dani Veština is a weekend made for children and parents, and children up to 12 get into the festival for free.
What about rubbish?
Rubbish is sorted in the village. Whatever you take up the mountain, bring back down.
Can I pick plants on Rtanj?
No. Rtanj is a special nature reserve and picking plants, including Rtanj tea, is not allowed.
What are nights like?
Quiet. Tents are close together, so after dark we talk softly, and nights are for the fire, the stars and sleep.
What to bring
What should I definitely bring?
A head torch, a water bottle, a warm jacket (nights are cool even in summer), biodegradable soap and a power bank. For your own tent: the tent, a mat and a sleeping bag.
What if it rains?
The village has shade sails and large tents for hanging out and workshops. Bring a rain jacket and shoes that do not mind mud.
