Volunteer at an eco village on Mt Rtanj
Stay and meals in exchange for 4–6 hours of work a day, at least 3 days. No experience needed, only the will to work with others and look after the place. The rest of the day is yours: Rtanj, the golden hour and the stars.

What you do
There is always work in the village. Pick what suits you, and we plan the day together around what is needed most.
Building
Shelters, benches, gates and structures from wood, branches and straw.
Garden
Sowing, watering, weeding and harvesting in the village garden.
Plants, fences and paths
Pruning, planting, branch fences and keeping the paths tidy.
Decoration and art
Painting, decorations, signs and art installations around the village.
Fixing old things
Old furniture, tools, doors and houses get a second life.
Kitchen
Meals for the crew and guests, from prep to the washing up.
Eco team
Sorting, compost and a clean village.

Do I need experience?
No. You learn on the spot, with the village crew.
Where do I sleep?
In your own tent or, when there is space, in a volunteer tipi.
Can I come from abroad?
Yes, people from all over Europe volunteer. The crew speaks English.
Do I get days off?
Yes. Days off are for Rtanj: a hike, Vrelo, a cave or a day in a hammock.
